EARLY DAYS
DannyTheProphet is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born in wuse 2 Abuja , his interest in music started from child birth as both of his parents were both music lovers and listened to different genres of music , so growing up he was always around music. At the age of 14 in his secondary school (Stella Maris College) he was appointed choir master after only joining the school choir for 3 weeks prior and this would be his first experience in composing music . He graduated at age 15 and won the most socially interactive student award .
COLLEGE AND COURSE
He did his university in Birmingham city University, Uk and graduated at the age of 19 with a first class in Finance and investment , he didn’t have any interest in chasing music as a career path, it was almost certain that he will go into the finance & business world but the universe had other plans for him.
BODY
During his study time his younger brother always called him and told him how he had started learning production as a hobby and had a flair for instruments, at his final year in college his younger brother had come to Birmingham city university as well and Daniel was able to see his talents at a closer proximity but didn’t still have any interest in chasing music as a career path.
After seeing how good his younger brother was he began to see how he could help his brother sell his beats to artists as his brother had the flair of making different genre instrumentals and he had caught the eye of some drill and afrobeats artists
During a studio session Daniel was told to give a freestyle to an instrumental made by an afrobeats artist and it was good,unique is the word, he was advised by the artist to start a career path in music as they believed that he could sing and had a good voice he resisted at first but after being told by many music creatives he left it in Gods hands and before he knew it his destiny had begun drifting into the musical path . After he graduated from college 6 months passed as he was in Nigeria going from studio to studio meeting people and perfecting his music from the way he sees entertainment and also learning from people. In his return to Birmingham for his master program it had begun clear to him that music was his first love and after 3 months back he released his first single “FeeLove” which did quite well for a debut track, amassing over 40k views on YouTube.

DannyTheProphet released his first project, a 5 song EP titled “JAPAJO” on the 6th of march 2022, a combination of Afro fusion and his unique style the first song titled “jollof” shows his flair of singing, a family friendly song with its unique melody. The project was produced by Abraham the ceo of hopeless romantic records. In this project Abraham showed his versatility as he created instrumentals for Ash Wednesday, Eyo-Eyo and the self titled song “DannyTheProphet” and mixed and mastered the entire project. Meeno manic was the second producer and he made the instrumentals for the lead single of the EP “jollof” and the most streamed song in the project amassing over 100k streams on Spotify , the song showed Danny’s versitility as the song has a groovy Dancehall afrobeat vibe to it.
The Ep was released alongside a music video for the first song of the project “Jollof”, the video was shot by the Uk director Qbroomvisuals visuals in Birmingham who has shot many music videos for various artists “gettin hot” & “Latan” by azanti and “Get Bread” by Psycho YP. In the “Jollof” video it showed a the creativity of DannyTheProphet and Qbroomvisuals as they creatively used the use of aesthetics and background graphic tools to enhance the video, as it showed the unique fashion of DannyTheProphet.
